Well we are going to start the summer demo season off with huge line up from Vans. Join Anthony Van Engelen, Johnny Layton, Gilbert Crockett, Keegan Sauder, Elijah Berle, Daniel Lutheran, and special guest Jason Dill on June 13th at 5pm for a quick autograph session at Pitcrew and than is off to the Hill St Skatepark for a demo around 6pm. Let everyone know!

The City of Frederick is having a contest at the skatepark this Saturday May 28th. It only cost $8 to enter and skate all day. If you have any question call the park 240 209 3807.

Coda skateboard's showed up this year to help pit crew kick off the summer with a hot dog BBQ at the hill street skate park.

A big thanks to coda for hooking up some of the little rippers with new gear for this up and coming summer.

Last year, I spent 2 weeks on the road with Nike SB along side my good friend Dan Magee. The European tour brought all the heavy hitters and I have never witnessed skateboarding like this ever before. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off at the demos. Honestly... thank goodness there were two of us filming on the trip. What a tour it was and the segments Magee edited were just brilliant. If you have not seen them, check the link below.

But even with 4 parts from the tour, there was still a bit of footage left over that needed to see the light of day. Ladies and gentleman... welcome to episode 2.

It has been over 3 1/2 years since I switched from the VX over to HD. In this time, I have been filming on a daily basis here in Berlin and contributed to many different projects along the way. Add that with the tours I have been on in that time, there's not much room left on my hard drives.

So with all the unreleased footage, second angles, left over tour footage, and so on; I thought I would create this web series, 'Wooden Nickels', as a way to release the footage. I know how hyped I get to see new footage coming out or outtakes from other tours... I hope you enjoy this just as much.
