Here is a little clip of the local Hill Street Skatepark that Danny Ringenary sent to us with commentary by the park manager Mike Umberger. This clip shows many of the local skateboarders in the area as well as a few pros that have come through on tour. This park has many fun lines and a great vibe so stop by and check it out. Everyone here at PITCREW is very excited to be named top five in the DVS Footwear's "Shopliftin'" Contest. DVS asked 100 lucky skate shops to make a short video and send it in. The videos would then be voted on by a the DVS Team. Thanks go out to Mark Nickels who did an amazing job on the edit in such a little time frame and to all the guys in the video that made it happen.

Tonight at 7pm on the 3rd floor of Winchester Hall in downtown Frederick the BOCC is supposed to vote on whether or not to allow the change of the Middletown Park master plan to include an area for a skate spot. As I understand it, the public can speak in favor or against the proposal prior to the vote. Just like the last meeting at the Middletown AmVets. Only this time the audience is the BOCC. It is important to show up and support and be on record about it.
